Kelley Filson

Kelley is a Certified Dog Trainer with over 15 years of teaching experience. She’s held positions with several animal shelters on the east and west coast and was previously the Director of Humane Education for The San Francisco SPCA.

Having grown up using choke-chains and compulsion-based training methods Kelley was determined to find a better way. Modern training methods saved her dog’s life and inspired Kelley to evolve! Almost 10 years later she has a reputation among trainers and veterinarians for creative solutions to behavior problems.

Kelley has been told that she has natural gift for teaching people to train their dogs and holds certifications from both the SF/SPCA and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Kelley is blogging on dogTime.com.
